Matthew B. Young MD

Dr. Young graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in 2010. He completed his residency training at Hennepin County Medical Center and served as chief resident of the Internal Medicine program. Dr. Young’s interests in compassionate care for underserved and vulnerable populations as well as medical education made staying at Hennepin County Medical Center an easy choice.
Dr. Young serves as a hospitalist member, caring exclusively for patients admitted to the hospital and working with primary physicians to ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home. He is also Associate Program Director of the Transitional Residency Program.
