Mary C. Nasmyth MD

Dr. Nasmyth received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Southern California. She completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the UCLA Multi-Campus Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Program at the West LA Veterans Administration. Dr. Nasmyth is the Chair of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Cedars-Sinai and has served as the Associate Medical Director for our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit as well the Clinical Chief of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She transitioned to the position of Associate Medical Director at the California Rehabilitation Institute in July 2016.

In this role, she developed and facilitated the launch of the California Rehabilitation Institute and the development of the California Rehabilitation Institute Medical Group to its current complement of twelve physiatrists. She continues to serve as the Medical Director of the Complex Medical Program at the California Rehabilitation Institute. Dr. Nasmyth has served as the Interim chair for the department since January of 2020. In her role as Chair, Dr. Nasmyth leads the clinical, operational, academic, and research programs of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
