Dr. Quan is Professor of Clinical Family Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is the Vice-Chair for Academic Affairs of the UCLA Department of Family Medicine. He is the former program director of the UCLA Family Practice Residency Program, former Vice-Chair of the RRC-FP Committee of the ACGME, and former Editor-in-Chief of Family Practice Recertification. He is the Director of the Office of Continuing Medical Education for the medical school and Senior Advisor to the President of the American Board of Family Medicine.
