Mark Strickland, PT, OCS, MTC, Cert MDT, CFC, CCTT, CODN is a graduate from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston in 1984. He received his McKenzie certification in 1994, completed his Board Certification in Orthopedic Specialty in 1999, his Manual Therapy Certification through the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 1999, and his Craniofacial Certification in 2005 also through the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. In 2009, he was certified by the Physical Therapy Board of Cervical & Craniofacial Therapeutics (PTBCCT) as a Certified Cervical and Temporomandibular Therapist. In 2012, he completed his Vestibular Certification through the American Institute of Balance and Certification in Orofacial Dry Needling through Myopain Seminars.
For the past seventeen years, Mr. Strickland has been a chief clinical instructor for the Physical Therapy School at Texas State University. For the past nine years, he has been an Assistant Professor at the University of St. Augustine. After 22 years in private practice, Mr. Strickland is currently an Area Vice President for Physiotherapy Associates (Texas/OK). He manages seventeen clinics. He practices physical therapy in Austin, TX with primary specialities of the spine, manual therapy, and Craniomandibular Disorders.
