Mark H. BilskyMD
Mark H. Bilsky was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey on June 13,1962 and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. He received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Michigan and M.D. from Emory University. He trained at the New York Hospital under Russel Patterson and pursued a joint neurosurgical and orthopedic spine fellowship at the University of Louisville with Christopher Shields.
In 1995, Dr. Bilsky was appointed to the faculty of the Division of Neurosurgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) and served as interim chair. He currently is a Member of and Attending Surgeon at Memorial Hospital and Professor of Neurological Surgery at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He has received significant support and direction from Philip Gutin, chairman of Neurosurgery at MSKCC. Dr. Bilsky is currently the director of the MSKCC multi-disciplinary Spine Tumor Center and director of the neurosurgical oncology fellowship program.
