Majid Saeedi PharmD, PhD

Dr. Majid Saeedi was born on January 29, 1970, in Tehran, Iran. He graduated from Alborz high school in 1988. He obtained his Pharm. D. in 1994 at Tehran University of Medical Sciences under supervision of the Professor Rafiee-Tehrani. Saeedi received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics in 1998 at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences under the supervision of Professor Farid and Professor Adrangui. He was appointed to the department of pharmaceutics at Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences as an Assistant Professor in 1998. He was promoted to Full Professor in 2009.

Professor Saeedi is the author of four books, six patents, and over 150 papers (H index 25) on pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical sciences. His research interests span is Nanotechnology, Cosmetic and toiletries, Oral Controlled Release Preparations, Topical preparations and percutaneous absorption, Phytopharmaceutics, Bioadhesives, Natural antimicrobial agents, and Formulation and clinical study. His teaching specialties is Dosage forms and Industrial pharmacy, Physical Pharmacy, Cosmetics and Toiletries, Biopharmacy, Microbial controls of drugs, and physicochemical controls of drugs.

Professor Saeedi was honored as the Selected Teacher of faculty of pharmacy in 2001, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2018; Selected researcher of faculty of pharmacy in 2001, 2002; Selected researcher of Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences in 2003, 2005, 2010, Young Selected Researcher of 10th. National Razi Festival in 2004, Selected researcher of Mazandaran Province in 2010, Selected Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy in 2014, and selected vice-chancellor of Food and Drug in Iran in 2016.
