Mahesh K. Ramchandani MD, FRCS, FACS

Dr. Mahesh Ramchandani obtained his Medical Degree from the University of Cambridge in England. After which he trained in General Surgery then Cardiac Surgery at prestigious hospitals in London. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1987. In 1988, he came to Houston to train under Dr. DeBakey. Two years later, he was invited to complete his training in Dr. DeBakey's program and was appointed to the staff at Houston Methodist in 1995 where he continued to practice. He has a strong interest in minimally invasive techniques for Cardiac and Thoracic surgery and his peers consider me a leader in the field. Each spring, he hosts the ReEvolution Summit for Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery (MICS).
