Debakey CV Congress: Advanced Interventional Cardiovascular Imaging and Robotics is organized by Houston Methodist Hospital - DeBakey CV Education and will be held from Feb 26 - 27, 2020 at Houston Methodist Research Institute, Houston, Texas, United States of America.
Accreditation and Credit Designation Statements
Physicians:
Houston Methodist designates this live activity for a maximum of 11.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Nurses:
Houston Methodist will provide up to 7.58 contact hours for this activity. Participants must attend each session in their entirety and complete the corresponding items on the evaluation tool.
Description:
This inaugural program teaches cardiovascular imaging and interventional techniques in an intensive hands-on setting. Participants practice techniques including 3D planning using CT/MR image datasets, intraoperative image fusion and 3D image acquisition for interventional guidance. By the end of the program, participants should be able to apply these imaging and image guidance techniques to specific interventional/surgical procedures in order to improve their clinical practice. The course is designed for cardiovascular interventionalists interested in advanced imaging techniques.
This day-and-a-half symposium is designed for: cardiovascular interventionalists, physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, advanced practice clinicians, cardiovascular nurses, and radiology technicians interested in learning about advanced imaging techniques.
Learning Objectives:
• Demonstrate advanced cardiovascular imaging techniques
• Present technique for image fusion
• Understand the use and of electronic image guided planning
• Apply techniques in relevant situations
This program will teach cardiovascular imaging and interventional techniques in an intensive hands-on setup. Participants will learn (by doing!) various techniques, such as 3D planning using CT/MR image datasets, intra-operative image fusion and 3D image acquisition for interventional guidance.
By the end of the program, participants should be able to apply these imaging and image guidance techniques pertinent to specific interventional/surgical procedures in order to improve their clinical practice.
