Madelaine (Mattie) A. Feldman, MD, a native New Orleanian, has been in private practice for over 25 years. After losing both of her offices during Hurricane Katrina, Dr. Feldman joined Drs. Wilson and Sanders in 2005.
Dr. Feldman graduated from Tulane Medical School and continued her training at Tulane in Internal Medicine (Board Certified), followed by a fellowship in Rheumatology (Board Certified). A Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine, Dr. Feldman is passionate about patient advocacy and lectures extensively on a local and national level regarding access to care for patients and the importance of maintaining the doctor-patient relationship.
She is President of the Coalition of State Rheumatology Organizations and Chair of the Alliance for Safe Biologic Medicines. Dr. Feldman received the Distinguished Service Award from Tulane Medical School and was named one of the Top Women in New Orleans by City Business in 2017. She is a former radio talk show host and has been on the Top Doctors list in New Orleans for over 15 years.
