2018 Arizona United Rheumatology Alliance (AURA) Annual Meeting is organized by Arizona United Rheumatology Alliance (AURA) and will be held during Jun 01 - 03, 2018 at Enchantment Resort, Sedona, Arizona, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is Rheumatologists. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 6.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Objectives:
• Review the clinical features of myositis classification as it relates to myositis-associated autoantibodies.
• Explain the spectrum of selected autoantibodies seen in patients with myositis and their clinical associations.
• Discuss selected treatment aspects of myositis and autoimmune ILD.
• Review the risk of coccidioidomycosis infection in the rheumatic population.
• Review screening habits and how they relate to the 2016 IDSA guidelines for patients with coccidioidomycosis infection.
• Discuss research since 2016 relating to screening and treatment of patients with coccidioidomycosis infection.
• Identify the treatment and management of infected patients with coccidioidomycosis.
• Describe the clinical presentation of auotinflammatory bone disorders.
• Learn what disorders are associated with sterile osteomyelitis.
• Describe the current genetic syndromes that have sterile osteomyelitis/osteitis as a phenotype.
• Define how cannabis produces its pharmacological effects in the body (role and localization of cannabinoid receptors).
• Identify the primary components and functions of the endogenous cannabinoid system.
• Discuss potential benefits and risks of cannabis-based medicines, especially as it pertains to the field of rheumatology.
• Define the role of real-world data and health informatics to support clinical care and research.
• Compare & contrast strengths and limitations of various healthcare-related data sources, tools, and approaches to working with digital information.
• Discuss the current state of clinical trials for lupus and which agents are now in the pipeline.
• Review the use of metrics and measurements in assessing lupus activity.
• Review when to consider using biologics and targeted therapies that are currently available to treat lupus patients.
• Describe the challenges and opportunities related to data linkages and integration of digital data into traditional health care & research settings across a variety of rheumatology use cases.
• Recognize the common infectious triggers of MAS.
• Discuss the genetic predispositions for developing MAS.
• Discuss treatment strategies for MAS.
• Explain what a pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) does.
• Describe what the rebate system is and how it affects formularies for PBMs.
• Identify what step edits and nonmedical switching are and how they are a result of the rebate system.
