Ayse Selimoglu, graduated from Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine in 1989. In 1994, she became an expert on pediatrics at the same university. In 1995, she was appointed as assistant professor. Between 1996 and 1998, she received minor education in Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutritional Sciences department and received the title of pediatric gastroenterologist. She established the Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Science Department and the pediatric endoscopy unit attached to her in the Pediatric Health and Diseases Department of Atatürk University, Faculty of Medicine. In 2000,she became an associate professor.

Between the years 2002-2005 a pediatric gastroenterologist was trained in the field of science. In January 2006, she switched to Inonu University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics. She founded the Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, which is affiliated to this department. She became a professor in October 2006, trained a pediatric gastroenterologist, and currently teaches 3 minor. She served as the Head of Department of Pediatric and Internal Medicine for two terms. In 2011, she worked at the Pediatric Gastroenterology Clinic in Pittsburgh University Children's Hospital, USA. SHe is currently working as a professor at İnönü University
