Luv Javia, MD is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine (Chapel Hill, North Carolina). During his medical training, he spent a year at the National Institutes of Health as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Scholar.

Dr. Javia then completed Residency training at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery. Finally, he completed his Fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where he joined as Faculty in 2010. In addition to treating pediatric patients with a myriad of otolaryngologic conditions, his practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric chronic ear disease/cholesteatoma, cochlear implantation, airway reconstructive surgery, and perinatal airway management. Specific interests include pediatric tracheal reconstruction with slide tracheoplasty, endoscopic ear surgery, and perinatal airway management strategies as a member of the Special Delivery Unit at CHOP.

Dr. Javia is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology, and the American Broncho-Esophagological Association
