Lucy Dorrell DM

Lucy Dorrell received her medical degree and doctorate from the University of Southampton. She was a consultant in Genitourinary / HIV Medicine and clinician scientist at the University of Oxford for 25 years, where she was active in HIV and HPV research, latterly as Professor of Immunology at the Nuffield Department of Medicine. She joined Immunocore, a commercial-stage T cell receptor biotechnology company, in 2017, and holds a Visiting Professorship at the Nuffield Department of Women’s and Reproductive Health in Oxford. As Vice President in Infectious Diseases Research and Clinical Development at Immunocore, she is leading the development of new T cell receptor-based bispecific drug candidates for the functional cure of chronic hepatitis B and HIV, in partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
