OVERVIEW

12th International HBV Cure Workshop is organized by MCI Canada and will be held on Nov 05, 2025 at Marriott Marquis Washington, Washington, Dist of Col, United States of America.

Description:
This workshop also brings together global inter-disciplinary experts to provide a framework for how academia and industry should collaborate to achieve the goal of curing hepatitis B.

Since its inception in 2014, the International HBV Cure Workshop has been a pivotal scientific platform aimed at accelerating the progress towards finding a cure for HBV. With over 250 million people worldwide living with hepatitis B, the workshop's goal is to update participants on the latest advancements in HBV cure research. The event will be highly interactive, featuring contributions from experts in basic, translational, and clinical HBV research.

The HBV treatment landscape is experiencing significant transformations and is on the brink of a paradigm shift. The emergence of numerous new treatment options brings great hope for reducing the disease burden, simplifying treatment protocols, and potentially curing and eradicating HBV infection. To optimize curative treatments for HBV, distinguished speakers from around the world will present the latest therapeutic options for viral hepatitis. Experts will discuss the path forward to curing this deadly disease, which can lead to liver cirrhosis and liver cancer. Extensive discussions will cover the appropriate endpoints for therapeutic trials and the combination of different agents targeting the virus and/or immune system. This workshop also serves as a platform for global interdisciplinary experts to provide a framework for collaboration between academia and industry, with the ultimate goal of curing hepatitis B.
