Lowell S. Kabnick MD, RPhS, FACS, FACPH

Dr. Kabnick, MD, RPHS, FACS, FACPH joined the NYU faculty in 2007 as Director of the NYU Vein Center, selected because of his targeted specialty in the treatment of venous disease. As a world-renowned surgeon, his patient-centered approach to vein care has enabled him to create and improve a number of today's most advanced non-invasive surgical techniques. Dr. Kabnick holds numerous patents for the development of devices used during endovenous thermal treatment. He was the first vascular surgeon in the United States to perform two breakthrough procedures (laser and radiofrequency) for treating venous disease.
