Dr. McIntyre is a graduate of Pleasantville High School and the College of the Holy Cross. He was graduated from New York Medical College and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He studied arthroscopy and sports medicine with Dr. Richard Caspari in Richmond, Va. Dr. McIntyre has lectured both in the United States and abroad on the subject of shoulder and knee arthroscopy and has published numerous articles in peer review journals and publications on a variety of topics including knee and shoulder arthroscopy, electronic medical records, evidence-based medicine and healthcare reform.
He serves on the Board of Directors of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and is currently 1st Vice President of the organization. He is the Past President of the Westchester County Medical Society and currently chair of the Society’s Legislative Committee. He is a member of the Coding, Coverage and Reimbursement Committee of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Locally, Dr. McIntyre is the team physician for White Plains High School and President of the Ursuline School Father’s Club.
