Lonnie Wederski PhD, MSN, MBA, RN

Wederski joined Capella in 2004 as an adjunct instructor. Since that time, he has served as a dissertation mentor, dissertation committee chairman and faculty chairman, and he has been a core faculty member since 2008. Prior to joining Capella, Wederski worked as a registered nurse in burn trauma and as a psychiatry clinician and administrator and opened an independent inpatient centre for women with eating disorders. His MBA is from the University of Phoenix, and he received his PhD from Walden University. He served as the executive director of a residential treatment centre for abused and neglected children and served as chairman of Capella’s Faculty Review Panel. He also served as a primary subject matter expert in the development of Capella’s Master of Health Administration and Doctor of Health Administration programs.
