Lloyd Harold Barnwell Iii BSN, MSNA, DNAP, PhD, CRNA, CHSE, POCUS

Dr. Lloyd Harold Barnwell III is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of Education in the Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Nurse Anesthesia. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Liberty University, Master of Science - Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University, and is currently enrolled in VCU's PhD in Health Related Sciences program. Dr. Barnwell is a practicing anesthetist with the VCU Health System. His research interests include ultrasound applications in anesthesia, modernizing education for the millennial, and international collaboration of nurse anesthetists.
