Liane Canas PhD

Liane Canas is a Research Fellow in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences (BMEIS) at King’s College London (KCL), UK. Her research focuses on developing disease progression models to study infectious and neurodegenerative diseases using imaging and textual data. She also works on applying Digital Twin approaches to build personalised prognosis models. Her broader goal is to advance and translate cutting-edge methods from computer vision and pattern recognition into healthcare, enabling improved understanding, prediction, and management of disease.
