Leslie Millar Scoutt MD, FACR, FAIUM, FSRU

Dr. Leslie M Scoutt, MD, FACR, FAIUM, FSRU, completed her undergraduate training at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT, followed by medical school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. After completing a residency in Internal Medicine at University Hospital in Boston, MA, she did her Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA followed by a fellowship in Body Imaging at Yale School of Medicine. She joined the faculty of YSM in the abdominal imaging section upon completion of her fellowship where she is currently Professor of Radiology, Surgery, and Cardiology; Vice-Chair for Education, Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging; and Medical Director of the Non-Invasive Vascular Laboratory.

Dr. Scoutt has received numerous awards from the Yale diagnostic radiology residents for teaching and mentorship. In 2014, Dr. Scoutt received an honored educator award from the RSNA. Dr. Scoutt currently serves as the Categorical Chair of the Ultrasound Section for the ABR. She recently completed an eight-year term as a member of the Board of Trustees of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, including a year as president. She is a co-editor for the new edition of Callen’s Ultrasonography in Obstetrics and Gynecology textbook and of Ultrasound, a collection of ultrasound cases.
