Dr. Leslie L. Davis is a certified adult nurse practitioner who has specialized in cardiovascular nursing since 2000. Ms. Davis is the current Clinical Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill, School of Nursing, where she joined the faculty in 1993. She has also been the Adult Nurse Practitioner at the Cardiology Clinic at Duke University Medical Center, Division of Cardiology, Durham, NC, since June 2006.
Ms. Davis is a graduate of the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning her BSN degree in 1985, her MSN degree with a major in Adult-Geriatric Health Secondary Care and a minor in Nursing Education in 1989, in addition to completing her ANP (Post-Master’s Adult Nurse Practitioner Program) certification with a Cardiology Specialty in 2000. Prior professional experience includes being the Adult Nurse Practitioner at the Cardiology Clinic of UNC-Hospitals, Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, Chapel Hill, from July 2000 to July 2005.
