Lee C. Rogers DPM

Lee C. Rogers, medical director of the Amputation Prevention Center at Sherman Oaks Hospital in Sherman Oaks, CA, and his colleagues are using a new tool to heal diabetic foot ulcers and prevent amputations. The device is an epidermal graft harvester called CelluTome, distributed by Kinetic Concepts Inc. Rogers is a board-certified podiatrist who is fellowship-trained in surgical limb salvage and the prevention of amputations from diabetes. He has published more than 100 manuscripts or book chapters on the diabetic foot and is the past chair of the Foot Care Council of the American Diabetes Association.
