Lawrence Impey FRCOG

Mr. Lawrence Impey qualified in 1988 and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG) in 2007. He was educated at Oxford University and University College in London and he has been a Consultant in Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine at Oxford since 2001. He was featured in Tatler’s Best Doctors Guide in 2013.

He is the author of the leading medical student textbook in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, now co-authored with Tim Child in its fifth edition (2017). He is also co-senior editor of the Oxford Handbook of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Mr. Impey is the director of sub-specialty training in maternal and fetal medicine and clinical lead for high-risk services and clinical lead for the John Radcliffe Hospital.
