Management of the Term Breech

This is a one day conference offers a review of the current management of breech presentation at term.
It will explore possible ways forward in future breech presentation management.
Sessions will include revisiting the Term Breech Trial and the current complexities surrounding vaginal breech birth as a result.
It will include discussions on the maternal effects of caesarean section for all and the de-skilling in vaginal breech birth, in addition to natural breech birth and evidence for and technique of ECV.
Sessions will be led by expert proponents in both evidence and in the different approaches to breech management. Guidance on the setting up of the ECV clinic, the midwifery role and audit of an ECV clinic will be provided.
