Lavinia Kolarczyk MD

Dr. Lavinia Kolarczyk serves as the Director of Curriculum Development for CAPSEL at UNC. As Director of Critical Event Management, she has instituted a curriculum that encompasses a wide variety of anesthesia topics for residents and medical students. The core curriculum focuses on the principles of crisis resource management, as to develop and refine team leadership skills. Her personal areas of interest within simulation education include resuscitation, transesophageal echocardiography simulation, multidisciplinary simulation, and crisis resource management.
