Laurence Needleman MD

Laurence Needleman, MD was born in the Bronx but has been in Philadelphia since 1984. He is Director of Ultrasound at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in the Department of Radiology at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College. He is the second director, succeeding Barry Goldberg, MD. He trained in Radiology at Cornell Medical Center- New York Hospital and did a body imaging fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He has been involved in contrast media research since 1983 and has taken part in Phase 1,2 and 3 contrast agent trials.
