Laura Ardizzone is the Chief CRNA [Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist] at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. She also serves as adjunct clinical faculty at Columbia University School of Nursing and Fairfield University School of Nursing. Her previous roles include Assistant Clinical Professor of Nursing and Director of Clinical Education at Columbia University School of Nursing. As a nurse, Laura worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a thoracic surgery RN and an Intensive Care Unit RN at New York Presbyterian Weill – Cornell Medical Center. Laura’s research interests and publications include patient safety, patient hand hygiene, and global health. She is currently overseeing a multi-site expansion project for delivering clinical anesthesia services.
