Dr. Kristina DeMatas is a family and sports medicine Physician at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. She is also the founder of Sporty Doctor, where she shares rehab exercises, home treatments for sports medicine injuries and product recommendations. 

A graduate of A.T. Still’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Kristina DeMatas practices holistic, evidence-based family medicine that focuses on treating injuries and transforming lives through prevention, rehabilitation, and nutrition. She truly believes in the body's innate ability to heal itself and the power of physical therapy to treat injuries. She prefers to focus on prevention instead of just prescribing medications.
