Dr. Kimberly B. Fortner, MD is a Professor and currently serves as the Vice President of the Center for Women & Infants at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. She also serves as the Division Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Program Director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship program, and Vice Chair of Obstetrics Quality & Service. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and the Infectious Disease Society of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Fortner serves as a Board Examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology for both Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
She is board certified in both Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Fortner’s areas of interest include advanced diagnostic testing, maternal medical complications, infectious disease in pregnancy, and maternal immunizations.
