Dr KHOO Chong Kiat graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, the National University of Singapore in 1998. Dr Khoo won the Book Prize at the RCOG Regional Examination Course (Singapore) in 2006. He then obtained his specialist degrees from the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists of London, and his Masters of Medicine from NUS, Singapore. In 2010, Dr CK Khoo was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) scholarship to pursue gynaecologic endoscopy for endometriosis in Clermont-Ferrand, France. During his 6-month sabbatical there, he worked under the mentorship of renowned Professor Michel Canis, and in the meantime, he also obtained the European University Diploma of Gynaecological Operative Endoscopy. Upon his return to Singapore, Dr Khoo helped to set up the KK Endometriosis Centre in 2011.

In the international arena of MIS, Dr CK Khoo has published numerous articles in various international MIS and also peer-reviewed local scientific journals. In recognition of his sub-speciality of ectopic pregnancy, TLH complications, fibroid morcellation and single-port laparoscopy, Dr Khoo has often been invited as a teaching faculty and speaker at various international scientific conferences eg, APAGE, AAGL, ESGE and ISGE over the years. Dr Khoo is currently the elected Honorary Secretary and a council member in the College of O&G, Singapore, and he is also a lifetime member of the O&G Society of Singapore. To date, he has personally delivered the most number of babies in the year 2016 and 2017 in the whole country of Singapore!.
