Kevin M. Kalinsky, MD, MS, FASCO, is a professor and director in the Division of Medical Oncology of the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Kalinsky also serves as the director of the Glenn Family Breast Center at Winship, where he is tasked with fulfilling the vision to improve breast cancer outcomes by aligning research and education with cancer treatment and prevention. A breast cancer physician and investigator, Dr. Kalinsky's research focus is on developing new therapeutic approaches for patients with breast cancer.
Dr. Kalinsky's research is in the area of new drug development and therapies for patients with early-stage and metastatic breast cancer. His work involves the development of clinical trials to assess novel therapeutic agents in breast cancer based on tumor genomics. He is funded by a number of sources, including the National Institutes of Health and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
