Kerstin Halverson MS, BA

Kerstin Halverson has been the Point of Care Testing Coordinator at Children’s of Minnesota since 2003. Kerstin oversees the entire POCT program for two hospitals, one ambulatory surgery center, three clinics and one ancillary testing site. This equates annually to over 300,000 patient tests, 2,200 operator competencies, and managing 150 POCT devices. She is Chairperson of Children’s POCT committee, participates on the Joint Commission Readiness Committee and is a member of the Laboratory Leadership Team.
