Dr. Kerry Cho is a nephrologist who cares for patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, hypertension and electrolyte abnormalities. He also has an interest in amyloidosis, tuberous sclerosis, and end-stage renal disease requiring dialysis.
Cho earned his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College, now called Weill Cornell Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School, followed by a fellowship in nephrology at UCSF.
Cho is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and a fellow of the American College of Physicians. He completed the Teaching Scholars Program through the Haile T. Debas Academy of Medical Educators at UCSF. He is a clinical professor of medicine and director of the Nephrology Fellowship Training Program at UCSF.
