Kenneth J. Storch BS, MD, PhD, IFMCP

Kenneth J. Storch, MD, PhD is the Medical Director of the Center for Advanced Metabolic & Functional Medicine (Formerly Storch Nutritional Medicine Associates) in Florham Park, NJ. He has held previous positions such as the Medical Director of the Metabolic Medicine Department of Overlook Hospital as well as The President of the American Board of Nutrition Specialists. He has also been an assistant professor of medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Manhattan, NY. Dr. Storch earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and then received his medical degree (M.D.) at the State University of New York at Brooklyn and doctorate in nutritional biochemistry (PhD) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T) in Cambridge, Mass.
He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at The Staten Island University Hospital and his Nutrition and Cancer Fellowship at the Beth Israel – Deaconess Hospital in Boston. Dr. Storch is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Medical Nutrition.
Dr. Storch is a fellow of the American College of Nutrition and a member of the American College of Physicians and the Obesity Society. He is a regional and national leader in therapeutic Medical Nutrition actively caring for outpatients at the center and inpatients at teaching hospitals. Dr. Storch has been a principle investigator or co-investigator in several key clinical trials, as well as an invited presenter at numerous medical conferences, both nationally and internationally. Dr. Storch also served as a NASA Medical Nutrition Expert at Johnson Space Center.
