Dr. Trevino is a clinical psychologist with specializations in geropsychology and psychosocial oncology. She is an Assistant Attending Psychologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She conducts behavioral intervention research to improve the quality of life of older adults with cancer and individuals with serious illness and the caregivers of these patients.

Dr. Trevino is the current recipient of the Paul B. Beeson Career Development Award in Aging (K23) funded by the National Institute on Aging and American Federation for Aging Research. The purpose of this project is to develop and evaluate an anxiety intervention for older adults with cancer and their informal caregivers.
