Keith S. Gersin, MD, FACS, FASMBS, is Chief of Bariatric Surgery at Carolinas Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in laparoscopic bariatric surgery, and specializes in laparoscopic weight loss surgery.Dr. Gersin is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.Dr. Gersin serves on numerous national committees, has published in many scientific journals and lectures nationally on weight loss surgery.
