Keith Frayn is an Emeritus Fellow of Green Templeton College and Emeritus Professor of Human Metabolism at the University of Oxford. In the scientific field of nutrition and metabolism, Keith is a highly-respected contributor to the current understanding of fat metabolism, which has been the focus of his research for many years, as a member of the Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism (OCDEM). He is the author of the very successful textbook Metabolic Regulation: A Human Perspective (2010, Wiley-Blackwell) which is now in its third edition and illustrates how metabolic regulation allows the human body to adapt to many different conditions.
