Kathryn (kate) Tynan BSN, MSN, AGNP-BC, ACHPN, WCC

Kathryn (Kate) Tynan, Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner (A/GNP), has provided primary care for older adults in various settings for over twenty years, primarily in Tucson, Arizona. Collaborating with care teams, she manages sub-acute patient care from admission to discharge, primary care for long-term care residents, and hospice and palliative care for end-of-life clients.
Ms. Tynan is certified in advanced practice hospice and palliative care, and she also specializes in wound care. She often can be seen rounding with her English Creme Golden Retriever, Baylee, an important member of the patient care team. Kate is an avid hiker and spent a month backpacking over 240 miles completing the John Muir Trail in 2017.
