Kathleen D. Gibson BS, MD

Dr. Kathleen Gibson is a board-certified vascular surgeon in practice at Lake Washington Vascular Surgeons in Bellevue, Washington. She graduated with highest honors at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. She performed her residency in General Surgery, her Fellowship in Vascular Surgery, and her undergraduate education in Chemical Engineering at University of Washington.

Dr. Gibson currently serves on the board of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine; the Board of the American College of Phlebology; and the Membership and Bylaws Committee of the American Venous Forum. She is a distinguished member of the American Venous Forum and is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery.

Dr. Gibson has authored or co-authored multiple articles for journals such as Journal of Vascular Surgery, Phlebology and Journal for Vascular Ultrasound as well as several book chapters. She has presented at many scientific conferences in the United States, Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America, and has been the principal investigator for more than 25 clinical trials.
