Katherine Valencia Caro, M.S., MHS, RDN, PA-C, is a nationally certified physician assistant with the Duke Children’s Healthy Lifestyles Program. Healthy Lifestyles is committed to empowering children and adolescents to achieve a healthier lifestyle through family-based education, clinical care, and behavioral change.

Mrs. Caro is a graduate of the Duke University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program where she earned her Master of Health Science degree. She is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants and the North Carolina Medical Board. Mrs. Caro earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Dietetics and Nutrition at Florida International University. She is also a registered dietitian/nutritionist certified through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
