Katherine (katie) Hoadley PhD

Katherine Hoadley is an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research interests include gene expression analyses and integrative genomic approaches to classifying cancer. She has been a member of The Cancer Genome Atlas Project since 2007 overseeing UNC’s RNA sequencing contribution and participating in gene expression analyses for many tumor types. She played prominent roles in TCGA projects for breast cancer, testicular germ cell tumors, and pan-cancer analysis efforts. The first pan-cancer study was listed by ASCO as one of the Clinical Cancer Advances of 2015 and selected by the Clinical Research Forum as one of the Top Ten Clinical Research Achievements Awards of 2015.
