Jussi Taipale PhD

Jussi Taipale obtained his Ph.D. at the University of Helsinki in 1996, and after a postdoctoral period at Johns Hopkins University, he started an independent research laboratory which focuses on systems biology of growth control and cancer. His research group uses both computational models and experimental methods to understand basic mechanisms of gene regulation and to identify causative regulatory mutations in non-coding DNA in cancer.
