Prof. Jung Ryeol Lee graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine and earned his Ph.D. also from the same College. He completed his fellowship at Seoul National University Hospital and Seoul National University Bundang Hospital. Now, he is an associate
professor at Seoul National University College of Medicine and Seoul National University Bundang Hospital.
He has conducted research and published many articles on fertility preservation, minimally invasive surgery, in vitro fertilization, and ovarian function evaluation. He has given lots of presentations and lectures in academic meetings. His main academic interests are fertility preservation especially ovarian tissue cryopreservation as well as minimally invasive surgery. He developed innovative surgical techniques for single port laparoscopic myomectomy, which makes scar-less surgery possible. Recently, he has been conducting research on the regeneration of ovarian and endometrial function. He is the editor-in-chief and an associate editor of several peer-review journals such as the Journal of Menopausal Medicine and Human Reproduction. He has participated in numerous academic societies for reproductive endocrinology and fertility preservation as a council member.
