Julie Lovegrove BSc, PhD

Dr. Professor Julie Lovegrove is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Institute of Cardiovascular & Metabolic Research (ICMR), University of Reading, United Kingdom. Her research interests include Investigation of nutritional influences, nutrigenetics and nutrigenomics on metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular disease risk. Of particular interest is the influence of dietary fat, carbohydrates, and phytochemicals on insulin resistance and lipid metabolism, in different population groups. Research questions are investigated by use of large human dietary intervention studies and cell culture studies.
