Julie Le, DO, is a board-certified psychiatrist who works in primary care clinics alongside primary care doctors to deliver comprehensive psychiatric care. She is part of UC San Diego Health's Integrated Behavioral Health and acts as a psychiatry consultant, offering expert medication review and management for mental health conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

As a consultant, she typically cares for patients for a short period and either refers them back to their primary care physician or to outpatient psychiatry or specialty clinics. Dr. Le sees patients by internal referral only.

Dr. Le is also the associate program director of the combined family medicine and psychiatry residency program at UC San Diego School of Medicine and is dedicated to caring for San Diego's underserved and homeless populations.

She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, now called A.T. Still University. She completed a combined family medicine and psychiatry residency at UC San Diego School of Medicine. She is board-certified in both family medicine and psychiatry. Dr. Le is a member of the American Psychiatry Association.
