Julie Fitzpatrick Rafferty has over 25 years of media relations, crisis communications, marketing and fundraising communications experience. Currently Associate Vice Dean for Communications at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Principal with Rafferty Communications Strategies,
Ms. Rafferty previously was Director of Communications at Harvard-affiliated Joslin Diabetes Center. Earlier in her career Ms. Rafferty was a daily newspaper journalist and editor covering politics, local government, and features for several news organizations in New York. She has received numerous awards and honors from such organizations as the American Medical Writers Association, Cine, and the New England Direct Marketing Association.
