Dr. Dopheide is a Professor of Clinical Pharmacy, Psychiatry and the Behavioral Sciences at the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy, and Keck School of Medicine. She is actively involved in teaching pharmacy students, medical students, and psychiatry and pharmacy residents through didactic and clinical teaching.

Dr. Dopheide’s clinical practice is divided between adults, adolescents, and children with psychiatric illness. She serves on Los Angeles County’s department of mental health pediatric psychotropic guideline development committee. As part of a multidisciplinary treatment team, Dr. Dopheide makes recommendations to optimize treatment for psychiatric illnesses including schizophrenia, mood disorders, anxiety, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, chronic insomnia, and substance abuse.

Dr. Dopheide is a past president of the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists (CPNP) and is currently the co-advisor for USC's student chapter of CPNP. She serves on the Board of Pharmacy Specialty Council for Psychiatry. Dr. DOPHEIDE is actively involved with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), the American Pharmacists Association, and the National Alliance of the Mentally (NAMI). She is the PGY2 psychiatric pharmacy residency program director and supervises the resident in providing medication therapy management for outpatients in the Center for Community Health safety net clinic located in downtown Los Angeles.
