Juan Pablo Torres Torreti was Surgeon of the University of Chile (1999), Pediatrician, Infectologist and Doctor of Medical Sciences of the University of Chile, postdoctoral at Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, University of Texas, USA (2007-2008) in the field of respiratory infections viral.

Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Childhood Surgery Oriente and the Infectology Unit of the Luis Calvo Mackenna Hospital in Santiago. Head of the Research Unit (2014-2017) in the same hospital, Coordinator of the Training Program for Pediatric Infectology Specialists and Deputy Director of the Department of Pediatrics and Child Surgery Oriente.

In addition, he served as Deputy Director of Research (2009-2018), Deputy Medical Director of Laboratories (2011-2017) and Academic Director (2017-2018) of Las Condes Clinic.
