Dr. Joy A. Cochran is a physical therapist passionate about treating the neurologic and older adult populations. She feels there is a disconnect between the current healthcare system and discharge to evidence-based fitness programs/reintegration back into the community.

Joy graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northern Illinois University in 2016. She is a Credentialed Balance and Falls Professional and Certified Exercise Expert for the Aging Adult (CEEAA) through the Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), a Master Trainer for Urban Poling. Also, she holds certifications specific to treating Parkinson's Disease - PWR! Moves, Rock Steady Boxing (RSB), and LSVT BIG. Joy is experienced in treating complex conditions, such as Parkinson's Disease (PD), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), stroke, Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), amputees, balance, and vestibular disorders.
