Dr. Joshua J. Mann joined Ankle and Foot Centers of Georgia in 2013. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a BA in Microbiology, and a BS in Clinical Laboratory Sciences. He went on to earn his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Mann then completed residency in advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Dekalb Medical Center in Decatur, GA where he served as chief resident. He is affiliated with Dekalb Medical and Piedmont Henry serving as an attending foot and ankle surgeon, and is extensively involved with resident training at Dekalb Medical. His areas of particular interest include: foot and ankle reconstruction, bunion and hammertoe correction, tendon and ligament injuries, foot and ankle sports injuries, and foot and ankle fracture and trauma care.
Dr. Mann lectures nationally, and serves as a faculty member of The Podiatry Institute, an internationally recognized teaching foundation dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for patients with foot, ankle and leg disorders through innovative education, research and service. He is currently a peer reviewer of the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and is dedicated to providing his patients with up to date care utilizing evidenced based medicine.
